Wake-up PC with Magic Packet
WakeOnLanTool enables you to remotely power on computers within your
network by sending a so-called Magic
Packet. This special network message is used to signal a
powered-down or sleeping PC to wake up. In order to successfully send
the Magic Packet, the MAC address of the target computer must be
provided, as it uniquely identifies the network interface. If the
computer you want to wake up is located in a different IP subnet than
the sender, you must also specify the correct broadcast address so that
the Magic Packet can be properly routed to the target network.
Please note that not all Windows computers are configured to support
Wake-On-LAN by default. Some system and BIOS/UEFI settings may need to
be adjusted before the feature works correctly. For detailed
instructions on how to prepare your computers and network for
Wake-On-LAN, please refer to the following article:

How it works
Data source
Wake-up across subnet boundaries
Most routers are not configured by default to allow wake-on-lan packets to pass. Read here how to solve this problem: Wake-On-Lan to other subnet. There you will find step-by-step instructions for Cisco and HPE Aruba routers.
WakeOnLanTool runs on Windows 7/8/10/11 and Server 2012/2016/2019/2022/2025 (32 or 64 bit). It requires at least .NET Framework 4.
The user can choose his PC from a DropDown list. WakeOnLanTool then wakes up the computer in the network via Magic Packet.
WakeOnLanTool is not open source software, but free of charge - even for professional use.
The network or the client itself may be responsible for this. Everything is explained in the following article: https://www.simplescripts.de/wake-on-lan-windows-10.html. It also works for Windows 11.
PingTool 4.3 is a
